Megan Thee Stallion Responds To Plagiarism Accusations Regarding Her Fashion Nova Collaboration
Megan Thee Stallion has found herself the target of another fashion designer, who claims the “Savage” rapper took one of their designs for her Fashion Nova collaboration.
Reportedly, Megan’s deal with the fashion house led to earnings of $1 million within 24 hours, but another designer said she illegally used one of her designs. Hot New Hip Hop picked up on a social media post from the artist, Aazhia, who shared a screenshot to her IG page.
The post shared some of her products next to that of Megan Thee Stallion‘s items with Fashion Nova, insinuating the similarities between them were indicative of a plagiarized design.
Aazhia accused Meghan of lifting the design for her partnership with Fashion Nova, and during Megan’s interview on The Morning Hustle this week, she denied it outright.
Megan said on the show that many people who accuse her of such things are people who don’t even wind up speaking to her. They speak to her team, and she doesn’t know them. Moreover, Megan claims they don’t tell her who she’s talking to.
During the interview, Megan says people have been accusing her of stealing a dress design from another black woman, but she doesn’t even know the woman in question. Megan conceded that if she felt something wrong had been done, she would have compensated the designer.
But she doesn’t feel like that’s the case. “But I don’t feel like that was anything,” the rapper remarked. Aazhia wasn’t happy with Megan’s response, and she took to her social media to address it, accusing her of being “hypocritical,” “disrespectful,” and “condescending.”
According to Aazhia, the dress is from the 1990s, and she also claimed Megan insinuated she would’ve given her money if she had just spoken to her directly. Aazhia pointed out what she believed was an inconsistency in her defense.

Megan has been in the headlines for other reasons this year, including her controversial interview with GQ Magazine which irked the hosts of The Breakfast Club, who claimed they had been told not to talk about Tory Lanez, even though she did just that with GQ.
