Kourtney is always keeping up with the latest cleanses. "So, I'm doing this Ayurvedic cleanse right now," she told Bustle. "It's called Panchakarma. You can't eat anything cold; you can't drink anything cold. It's for 12 days. No sex. No working out. It's crazy." The practice supposedly balances energy to promote health. "It actually made everything better," she said. "Like, if you can't have caffeine when you have your first matcha, it's so good."
Kourtney maintains a primarily plant-based diet. "I've been on a health and wellness journey for the past 13 years, which has made me super conscious of what I put into my body and my kids' bodies. I'm not fully vegan, but Travis has helped me keep to a mostly plant-based diet," she told Harper's Bazaar.
Kourtney suggests always ordering healthier options – even when you don't want to. "When I go to a restaurant…if I'm really trying to be good, the hardest part is ordering the food," she explained in a video on Poosh. "Once it comes, you're going to be happy with it. Even if you order vegetable soup, it's still going to taste good once it comes. Obviously, you'd rather order the French fries and a burger, but it's just about making the wise order, and once it arrives, you're going to be fine."
Water is the secret to weight loss, per Kourtney. "Whenever I notice that I'm feeling bloated or like I need to step up [my body] or something, it's always because I'm not drinking enough water. When I step up the water, I'll instantly lose like two pounds in one day," she told Byrdie. "Half the time when you're hungry, you're really thirsty. I eat constantly throughout the day, so I'm not saying don't eat and just drink water, but I notice I eat less just because I'm so full from the water."
Kourtney is all about olive oil shots, maintaining it "can improve overall brain health thanks to antioxidants that boost memory and mood" and "can strengthen immunity and fight against infections with the help of monounsaturated fats (aka the healthy fats in EVOO) and antioxidants," she said on Poosh.
