James continued his education at Sheffield Music Institute of Maryland, where he earned a degree in audio sound engineering after graduating from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School in the year 2002. The town of Hollidaysburg can be found in Maryland. It was music and the building of handmade guitars that he was most passionate about. The family has expressed their desire for a private memorial ceremony to be held here, and it will be implemented accordingly.
