Former Worlds Strongest Man Eddie Hall almost unrecognisable as he follows UFC legend, Conor McGr
Eddie Hall is a new man after becoming the latest high-profile star to shave off his iconic beard.
Every year, men across the world use November to grow moustaches to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide in an event dubbed 'Movember'.
Hall - a World's Strongest Man winner in 2017 - has decided to join in this year but before he got to work growing a moustache, he documented the removal of his famous beard and had some fun in the process.
The 34-year-old shaved his facial hair into several styles before it eventually all came off and he could be seen bare-faced by many of his fans for the first time.
And he got the backing of his pals, with strongman competitor Luke Stoltman commenting underneath: "This is class."
Hall’s decision to shave off his iconic beard comes just days after UFC star Conor McGregor did the same thing in order to make his Halloween costume as authentic as possible.
A fresh-faced ‘Notorious’ uploaded several photos that showed him celebrating the holiday with his family while dressed in a pilot’s outfit, alongside his long-time partner, Dee Devlin, who wore a flight attendant outfit.
The Irishman clarified he was impersonating Frank Abagnale, a convicted conman portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2002 Catch Me if You Can.

This comes after McGregor had recently been joking about having bulked up to as much as 265 lbs, as he has been packing on the muscle in recent months.
The 34-year-old has recently been filming his movie debut alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the Dominican Republic but will soon return to training ahead of his eagerly anticipated comeback fight.
McGregor hasn’t fought since suffering a fractured tibia and fibula in his third fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021 but wants to return in the first quarter of 2023.
Meanwhile, Hall is unlikely to fight again after losing to Strongman rival, Hafthor Bjornsson, earlier this year in a fight dubbed ‘the heaviest boxing match in history.’
Hall came out swinging early but was ultimately dropped twice and outpointed by Thor who he could rematch at some point after their hugely popular clash.
Hall said: "I don't think so. Doing that fight with Thor was literally the sole reason, it was good timing for me.
"Covid had just kicked off, all the TV production stopped and then I got a contract under my nose for seven-figures to fight Thor.
"I've been offered more fights with some big names for big money and I'm just not interested."
